Palak paneer - Indian cottage cheese

         Palak paneer is an Indian recipe specifically in the northern India with all the flavours of Palak ( Spinach ) and paneer which can be called as Indian cottage cheese makes wholesome delicious and also healthy one. Palak paneer can be served with roti , rice , paratta. It's so easy to make with simple steps. I suggest to make this with this simple ingredients which will make your dish so so delicious. I made this with simple ingredients given in the ingredients list  which made this dish so tasty.

Serves : 3

Ingredients :

450 gm Palak ( Spinach)
1/4 bunch of Fenugreek Leaves
115 gm Paneer ( Indian cottage cheese)
A small piece ginger
A few flakes Garlic
5 gm Green Chillies
5 gm Chilli Powder
30 gm Coriander Leaves
30 gm cooking oil for fry
Salt to taste

Preparation :

1. Cute the paneer into cubes.
2. Heat oil. Fry paneer till pale brown and remove.
3. Grind together chilli powder, garlic and ginger.
4. Fry spices and whole green chillies.
5. Add washed and chopped spinach and Fenugreek leaves. Saute.
6. Add salt. Cook quickly for a few minutes. Add water if necessary.
7. Cover and cook on a slow fire till spinach and fenugreek leaves are cooked. Mash well.
8. Add paneer cubes. Bring to boil and remove. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
