Everyone loves this sweet when hearing the name jalebi. Yes! Jalebi is an indian sweet made in festive seasons in every typical indian homes. It is specially made in festival like diwali. It is easy to make and makes everyone of us eat it countless. In northern states jalebi eaten with gujarati snacks like khaman and dhokla has a tea snack.

Preparation time : 3 hours
Cooking time : 10 mins
Ingredients :
2 cups maida ( refined flour)
1/2 cup sugar
1-1/4cups water
1/4 cup curd
1 tsp Rose water
A pinch of Soda Bicarbonate
Oil for deep frying
A pinch of salt to taste.
Preparation :
1. Mix the flour, salt and curd to get a thick batter.
2. Allow the mixture to ferment for 3 hours.
3. Boil the sugar to get syrup. Cool and add the rose water to this.
4. To the batter add the soda powder and mix well.
5. Heat the oil for deep frying and force the batter through a piping bag to form spirals.
6. Deep fry till golden brown and soak it in the sugar syrup and serve.
Don't worry even in sweets you will gain some health nutrients..
